O'Neal -- 69 Years

The Rev. Bee and Bonnie O'Neal of Naches will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary Nov. 15 with a 6 p.m. reception and potluck dinner at Miracle Revival Tabernacle in Naches . The event will be hosted by their daughter.

Bee O'Neal and Bonnie Pate were married Nov. 22, 1939, in Athens, Ark. They have lived in the area more than 50 years.

Mr. O'Neal retired from Logwoods. Mrs. O'Neal is a homemaker.

The couple has one daughter, Peggy of Newberg, Ore.; three granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

Ford -- 60 Years

Gerald A. and Rosalind F. Ford of Yakima celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 4 with a family dinner at Whistlin' Jack Lodge. The event was hosted by their children and grandchildren.

Gerald Ford and Rosalind Schmidt were married Nov. 4, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside. They have lived in Yakima 52 years.

Mr. Ford retired from Noel Corp. (Pepsi-Cola). Mrs. Ford retired from Argus Insurance Agency.

The couple had four children, Susan Ford and Pam Wilcox of Yakima, Mel Ford of Aurora, Ill., and the late David Ford. They also have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Kringen -- 50 Years

Dennis and Darlene Kringen of Yakima will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Dennis Kringen and Darlene Lindor were married Nov. 9, 1958, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Great Falls, Mont. They are longtime area residents.

Mr. Kringen retired from Valley Marine in 1998. Mrs. Kringen retired from the Highland School District in 1995.

The couple has two daughters, Debbie Porter of Sammamis, Wash., and Denise Murphy of Yakima. They also have six grandchildren.

 

Brulotte -- 50 Years

Thomas and Theresé Brulotte of Zillah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at Black Angus restaurant. The event was hosted by their children. They also plan a trip to Victoria, British Columbia.

Thomas Brulotte and Theresé Chapdelaine were married Oct. 25, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima. They are longtime area residents.

Mr. and Mrs. Brulotte are semi-retired. They raised cattle, owned a pellet mill and a land leveling business and grew apples.

The couple has three children, Katrina Goodwin of Selah, Daniel Brulotte of Moxee and David Brulotte of Richland. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

Roebuck -- 50 Years

Ray Allen and Madge Carol Roebuck of Yakima will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Ray Allen Roebuck and Madge Carol Friend were married Nov. 9, 1958. They have lived in the area more than 30 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Roebuck are retired.

The couple has four children, Chip Roebuck of Pasco, Tracy Roebuck of West Richland, Calvin Roebuck of Yakima and Sam Roebuck of Mooresville, N.C. They also have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

Adolf -- 45 Years

Dany and Sheila Adolf of Wapato celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Nov. 8 with a dinner hosted by their children.

Dany Adolf and Sheila Pauley were married Nov. 2, 1963. They are lifelong area residents.

Mr. Adolf is employed with GE Aviation. Mrs. Adolf is employed with the Wapato School District.

The couple has three children, Scott Adolf of Wenatchee, and Diane Sybouts and Alan Adolf, both of Yakima. They also have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

 

Jones -- 45 Years

Ron and Marion Jones of Yakima celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with a 12-day trip to Italy in October.

Ron Jones and Marion Peck were married Nov. 9, 1963, in San Pedro, Calif. They have lived in the area 25 years.

Mr. Jones retired from AT&T. Mrs. Jones retired from Qwest and is employed with Freedom Homes in Union Gap.

The couple has two children, Rhonda Boyle of Yakima and Ronnie Jones of Greece. They also have two grandchildren.

 

 

Metz -- 40 Years

Bill and Sandra Metz of Yakima will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Nov. 16 with dinner at Black Angus restaurant. The event will be hosted by their children.

Bill Metz and Sandra Worden were married Nov. 16, 1968, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser. They are lifelong area residents.

Mr. Metz retired from Yakima Medical Laundry. Mrs. Metz retired from the Social Security Administration.

The couple has two children, Kathy Hovenkotter and Andrew Metz, both of Yakima. They also have three grandchildren.

 

Parrish -- 35 Years

Mike and Rita Parrish of Yakima will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas.

Mike Parrish and Rita Moser were married Nov. 10, 1973, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They have lived in the area 53 years.

Mr. Parrish has been employed as a Valley Ford Nissan technician more than 30 years. Mrs. Parrish is employed with Linens 'n Things.

The couple has two children, Mike Parrish and Mindy Nehls, both of Yakima. They also have four grandchildren.
