Ricardo Cabrera

Ricardo Cabrera, 16, of Wapato died Wednesday at Toppenish Community Hospital.

He was born in Toppenish and raised in Wapato. He was a student at Wapato High School.

Survivors include his father, Lorenzo Cabrera of Wapato; his mother, Maria L. Cabrera of Wapato; four brothers, Rogelio Cabrera of San Diego, Calif., Miguel A. Cabrera of Susanville, Calif., and Alejandro Cabrera and Christian Cabrera, both of Wapato; and one sister, Veronica Guizar of Wapato.

Visitation is at 3 p.m. today at Merritt Funeral Home with recitation of the rosary at 5 p.m. Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Claver Church in Wapato. Burial will follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park.

Merritt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Ruth Grettner

Ruth Grettner, 63, of Sunnyside died Friday.

She was born in Denver and was educated in Delta, Colo.

Survivors include her husband, James Grettner of Sunnyside; one daughter, Krista A. Grettner of Port Angeles, Wash.; one son, Sheldon Grettner of Federal Way, Wash.; and one brother, Ray Boyden of Colorado.

Graveside services will be Friday in Delta.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Gary Lee Fowler

Gary Lee Fowler, 50, of Yakima died Thursday.

He was born in Seattle. He worked as a sign painter for Heath Signs for many years. He was currently employed with Tube Art Signs.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Fowler of Yakima; one son, Aaron Fowler of Great Lakes, Ill.; one daughter, Adrianne Fowler of Spokane; his father, Guy Woodward of Yakima; one brother, Michael Fowler of Everett, Wash.; three sisters, Dyetre Morrison of Yakima, Rene Lewis of Puyallup, Wash., and Alice Dillard of Olympia; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Randall Park.

Keith and Keith Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation arrangements.

 

Theresa Ann Bennett

Theresa Ann Bennett, 77, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.

She was born in Alberta, Canada. She moved to Yakima in the early 1950s. She worked as a fruit sorter in warehouses.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Henry of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., and Fern Stewart of Washington; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with concluding burial services at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

 

Daniel Gregory Hull

Daniel Gregory Hull, infant son of Shane Hull and Tarra Torrez died Thursday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

 

Josefa 'Suse' C. Rodriguez

Josefa "Suse" C. Rodriguez, 75, of Prosser died Saturday.

She was born in Edinburg, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Octavio Rodriguez of Prosser; one daughter, Elia Garcia of Prosser; one son, Ricardo Garcia of Grandview; one sister, Clara Ledesma; three brothers, Eusebio Castilleja, Sebastian Castilleja and Frank Castilleja; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation are today from 4 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, with burial to follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
