Betty Lou Arbanas
Betty Lou Arbanas, 84, of Yakima died Sunday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Arbanas was born and raised in Butte, Mont. She moved to Wapato in 1946 and later lived in Walla Walla and Portland. She lived in Bend, Ore., for 40 years and moved to Yakima a year ago.
Survivors include her husband, Walter "Wally" Arbanas of Yakima; two daughters, Judy Arbanas of Walla Walla and Susan Patton of Zillah; two sons, David Arbanas of Portland and Joe Arbanas of Bellevue, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Lois M. Boyd
Lois M. Boyd, 86, of Yakima died Monday at Garden Village.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Holloway, Minn. She was a claims adjuster for United Pacific Insurance Co., and helped at the Oak Creek Feeding Station for many years.
Survivors include her husband, James Boyd; a son, Jim Boyd; a sister, Louise Falboy; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
Charles D. Cameron
Charles D. Cameron, 76, of Ellensburg died Friday at home following a tractor accident.
Mr. Cameron was born and raised in Leachville, Ark., and served in the Navy as a cook. After moving to the Kittitas Valley, he raised horses and became associated with the Springwood Party Barn as a provider of horses for the guests as well as serving as a guide for rides in the area.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Cameron of Ellensburg; three sons, David Cameron, serving in the Navy in Italy, Thomas Cameron of Granite Falls, Wash., and Anthony Cameron of Ellensburg; three daughters, Sharon Witman of Ferndale, Wash., Sandra Reed of Moses Lake and Belinda Cameron of Ellensburg; a number of brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Affordable Funeral Care, 101 E. Second Ave., Ellensburg. A memorial celebration will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Springwood Party Barn, 415 E. Taneum, Thorp, with a potluck gathering following at noon.
Silas Leroy Gilstrap
Silas Leroy Gilstrap, 54, of Yakima died Tuesday.
Mr. Gilstrap was born in Tulary, Calif., and worked as a mill worker at Pace International.
Survivors include his mother, Anna Skeen of Vader, Wash.; a brother, Richard Allen Gilstrap of Yakima; and a sister, Anna Marcell Gilstrap of Ohio.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima, is in charge of arrangements.
Grace M. Gorman
Grace M. Gorman, 95, of Yakima died Tuesday.
She was born in Montevideo, Minn.
Survivors include four sisters, Ora Hubel of Montevideo., Cleo Thompson of Salem, Ore., Lois Bissonette of Bloomington, Minn., and Patricia Huck of Richfield, Minn.
Cremations arrangements are under the direction of Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Donald R. Katen
Donald R. Katen, 94, of Ellensburg died Sunday at Kittitas Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Katen was born in O'Neill, Neb., and moved to the Kittitas Valley in 1937. After serving in the Merchant Marines during World War II, he returned to the area to continue farming until retirement a number of years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Katen of Ellensburg; a son, Kenneth Katen of Rapid City, S.D.; and a daughter, Ruth Robbins of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with private family memorial observance.
Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg is in charge of arrangements.
Mario Martinez-Bautista
Mario Martinez-Bautista, 24, of the Yakima area died Saturday in a traffic accident.
Mr. Martinez-Bautista was born in Michoacan, Mexico.

Josefa 'Suse' C. Rodriguez
Josefa "Suse" C. Rodriguez, 75, of Prosser died Saturday.
She was born in Edinburg, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Octavio Rodriguez of Prosser; a daughter, Elia Garcia of Prosser; a son, Ricardo Gonzalez of Grandview; a sister, Clara Ledesma; three brothers, Eusebio Castilleja, Sebastian Castilleja and Frank Castilleja; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, with burial to follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, is in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy June Savage
Dorothy June Savage, 88, died Sunday in Moses Lake.
She was born in Ellensburg.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Steward and Williams Tribute Center in Ellensburg.
Jack R. White
Jack R. White, 77, of Zillah died Monday in Yakima.
Mr. White was born in Toppenish and was a Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ada White of Zillah; two sons, Calvin White of Yakima and Ken White of Zillah; a sister, Marie Collins of Prosser; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zillah Nazarene Church.
