Middle-schoolers opt to skip the plastic

The Wilson Middle School students are part of a "Go Green" campaign to educate people about the number of plastic plastic bags used and the impact on the environment. The students will be selling these reusable shopping bags, bearing the "Go Green Yakima" and Wilson Middle School logo to encourage shoppers to stop using plastic shopping bags and also raise money to go to Seattle to meet Mayor Greg Nickels.
